About botulinum injections in the forehead area.

 

During the procedure, a botulinum injection is injected into the facial muscles, which temporarily “paralyzes” the forehead muscles. As a result, wrinkles are smoothed out and a strong lifting effect is achieved. On average, the duration of the drug is 6 months, but depending on the individual characteristics of the patient’s skin, it can vary from 4 months to 1 year. The advantage of botulinum injections is that long-term reduction of facial muscle tension leads to smoothing of skin wrinkles and at the same time allows a person to get used to controlling their facial expressions. Botulinum injections have been approved as a safe and effective remedy for wrinkles and facial expressions. The injections will quickly, easily and effectively improve forehead wrinkles and frown lines. The experience of plastic surgeons shows that in the fight against the signs of aging, small facial rejuvenation procedures performed in a timely manner provide both excellent improvements and save time and money.

About botulinum injections for the treatment of excessive sweating.

To combat excessive sweating, botulinum toxin is injected into the armpit area, which temporarily “paralyzes” the sweat glands. In 97% of cases, botulinum injections into the armpit area are very effective – they completely relieve a person of the excruciating excessive sweating in the armpits. After the injections, the armpits no longer sweat in large drops that flow in jets, damage clothing and cause discomfort, odor and embarrassment in society. After the botulinum injection procedure, sweat evaporates normally through the skin, but the person has the feeling of clean and comfortable armpits. The effect sometimes appears as early as day 2-4, but the full effect usually occurs within 6-10 days. Only 3% of people (according to recent studies) already have antibodies to this botulinum toxin in their bodies, so the effect either does not occur or is short-lived and not pronounced. On average, the duration of action of the preparation is 6 months. When it ends, the injections can be repeated.

 

How is the procedure done?

Botulinum toxin injections are a quick, easy and safe procedure. Using a fine needle, a very small amount of botulinum toxin is injected very precisely into several areas of the body. Because the needle is so fine and only a small amount of fluid is used, the pain associated with the injections is minimal. However, before the procedure, the specific area is kept cold to minimize the sensitivity of the sting. Most patients compare this feeling to an insect bite. Anesthesia is not required, and you can immediately return to your daily routine without any problems after the procedure.

 

During the introductory campaign, botulinum injections will be available at our clinic for less than in any other clinic in Riga – the cost for the forehead area will start at 150 EUR and for the armpit area at 200 EUR.
